Week 8 May 12, 2019 It’s been a a amazing time in psych class every day. Walking in the class full of excitement because of so much fun I am going to learn in the class. For adjustments I want to receive our grade back for our practice FRQs and play more games in the class. My advice for future psych students are just do the work you are assigned to and plan your study days. Always manage your time wisely cause if you don’t it will become a  difficult class when it should not be. Don’t get discouraged when you see your test grades and you don’t receive the test grade you want. Just learn from it and study more for the next test. My favorite activity is goose chase because it made us interact with each other to accomplish a goal together. As a result, we learn more and ask questions to each other if anyone have any questions. Don’t leave out anything cause this is what makes this class what it is. Have fun and study! Good luck and enjoy your time in that class cause it’s goes...

Week 7 April 6, 2019 The Anything Blog! I be talking about sleep for this week! Are you getting enough sleep?! Sleep is such a massive part of our lives so I wanted to see what happens when our heads hit the pillow to go to sleep at night. According to the article, a sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes and during that time we move through 5 stages of sleep. The first 4 stages is the non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep. The fifth stage is rapid eye movement (REM) sleep occurs. Its interesting how the article says that how much NREM or REM you can get depends what time of day (or night) it is. Next the article talks about what does it mean for napping? This caught my eyes because as a high school student I takes plenty of naps. Giving yourself a full sleep cycle can help retain certain skill you've just learn however, the farther you are in your sleep, the harder it is to get over the grogginess. Napping can be beneficial but there are affects. I realize thats why I feel lik...

Week 6 March 29,2019 Personality test Jung Typology Personality test is a test that ask about 60 questions about yourself. My results was ENTJ which was Extraverted Intuitive Thinking Judging. I was not surprised what I got because I took a similar test for another class before I got the same results. It says I am "larger than life" meaning the ability to expressed. Psych test Hopeless Romantic: I went to more psych tests and i chose one that said Hopeless Romantic. This is asking em questions if I am Hopeless Romantic. This test is designed to see who am I attractive too. This one was fun because I like to rate people. The results was that my lowest score was girls that are cheerfulness. I disagree with this because I am into girls that are happy and fun loving. The Atte...

Week 5 March 22, 2019 My interesting article talks about do your surroundings affect your taste? According to new study, what we taste when we eat is significantly influenced by where we are when we have our meals. We get our sensory input from our surroundings with our eyes, ears, even our memories about the surroundings. My thoughts I never really think about surroundings when I"m eating. From now on I'm going to look at my surroundings before I eat because of this article. My article:  https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323362.php

Week 4 March 1, 2019 I was born on October 16, 2001 and was born in Houston, Tx. I been in Houston, Tx my whole life and I love that I was born in this amazing environment. My first steps were when I got up to go reach my mom hand and it was around 12 months.  My first words was "bottle" because I wanted the bottle from my mom. I started middle school at Sugar Land Middle School and then transfer to Dulles Middle School. Puberty started while I was at Sugar Land Middle School and I remember that one night I woke up and feel like I was taller. I went to the restroom and I saw a mustache growing! I lived in a family of 5. It includes my older sister, younger brother, and both my parents. Yes indeed, I’m the middle child. My high school graduation will be in 2020 and thats one year away. I'm looking forward to my future and that I want to go to University of Houston. I'm planning to get a biology degree so I can get into dentist school after my graduation. I can...

Week 3 February 22, 2019 Here I come! I am Broca Dope! My hero abilities related to the broca's area (production of speech) and dopamine (motivational component). He fights for people rights by speaking and influencing people to fight against evil or whats right. When I was young, I wouldn't speak about my emotions and feeling about certain things because of people that shut me out. They said I was wrong and know nothing. One day I realized, I need to be strong and show others that I can show them that you can do whats right to you! I make sure that people need to speak up against evil! I give speeches to people or mass audience if they need help motivating or need hope! Sometimes people need a little motivation to fight against evils of the world. If trouble is here, scream out Broca Dope and I would be there in a blink of an eye.   Here's a link about dopamine and its functions: .https://www.news-medical.net/health/Dopamine-Functions.aspx
